The first years of childhood in particular offer so many opportunities to capture your enchanting children in wonderful photographs. It is a pleasure for me to create wonderful memories for my clients from these special moments.
I usually talk to my clients on the phone before the children’s photo shoot. I take an interest in their ideas regarding motifs, location, outfits, image styles and special features. Together we collect ideas for the children’s photo shoot in Munich and decide what we would like to implement. This can be very diverse, for example creative children’s photos, funny children’s photos, nonsense photos, casual children’s photos or similar. In the children’s shoot itself, I try to capture the children, their siblings and their interactions photographically. I often start with the sibling pictures if you have siblings. This exuberant mood in nature creates the most lively and authentic children’s photos: when your children pick flowers, jump in the leaves, throw stones into the water or run happily across the meadow. Picture package: You choose your picture package after the photo shoot when selecting your personal favorites in the online gallery. This means you don’t have to decide on a picture package before the photo shoot, but can choose the pictures you like and only pay for them.

You can book a children’s shoot at any time of year and no matter how old your children are. The best light for an outdoor shoot is two hours after and two hours before sunset. But we can also look for shady spots at midday or take photos at your home if it suits you better.

How long does a children’s photo shoot take ?
Unfortunately there is no general answer to this, but I usually take photos for about 1-1.5 hours. It depends on the number of children and their age. If the children are still toddlers, their attention span can quickly come to an end. If I notice that they have had enough, we shorten the appointment a little. Your children’s photo shoot should be a great memory for the little ones. If you already know that your children are relatively impatient, I will also prepare for a short shoot. Even during this time, many beautiful children’s pictures will be taken.
Are portraits also created in a children’s shoot?
Yes, of course we also take a lot of individual portrait photos.
What do we do with the photo session in bad weather or if someone is ill ?
If the weather is not good enough for an outdoor shoot, I will be happy to come to your home or we can postpone the children’s shoot. If someone is ill, please let me know in good time. Then we will find a good alternative or a new date.
How can we prepare for the children’s photo shoot?
As a rule, a children’s photo shoot in Munich works best with fit, full and well-rested children. If you notice that a child is sick, it is better to let us know in good time and we will find a new date. Snacks and drinks are also recommended to keep spirits up. What is the best outfit to choose for the children’s pictures? What should the children wear?
It’s best if you agree on two to three colors and put the outfits together in shades of these colors. It’s good if the colors or color nuances are reflected in each other’s clothes. This makes the sibling pictures look very harmonious and stylish. Large lettering or prints on the clothing should be avoided if possible. The focus should be on the children and their emotions.
