Stylish wedding pictures
My photographic style: informal wedding photos in the registry office and outdoors
My photographic style is unobtrusive and genuine. I accompany you discreetly, without putting you in too many poses, because the most beautiful moments are when you are completely with yourselves. Whether at the registry office, waiting in front of it or the first embrace after the ceremony: I capture with an eye for closeness what you may only perceive fleetingly.
I work with natural light and a timeless, elegant image look that will still be beautiful to look at in years to come. I edit your photos from the registry office and from the registry office shoot in a restrained, clear and color-coordinated manner, as befits an authentic wedding reportage style.
During civil wedding ceremonies, which often take place in a short space of time, it is important to me to take a mindful approach. I keep my distance when necessary and am there when real emotions become visible. For bridal couple pictures after the ceremony, whether directly at the registry office or at one of your favorite locations in Munich, I will gently guide you. The result is relaxed wedding pictures that capture your civil ceremony in style and up close.

Emotional photos at the registry office
Why a good photographer is important for the registry office in Munich
The civil ceremony is often the first official moment of your wedding, full of anticipation, excitement and genuine feelings. Even though it is often shorter and more formal than a free or church wedding, it is full of emotion. An experienced registry office photographer will ensure that you can remember every smile, every look and the special atmosphere of this day later on.
Create memories of your civil wedding ceremony
The moment when you say “I do” often passes faster than you think, and yet it is so important. As a photographer, I capture the fine details and genuine emotions for you: the trembling in your voice, the smile when you put on the rings, the tears of joy from your loved ones. So you can relive this unforgettable moment again and again.
Document your love story and practise for the wedding
The civil ceremony is often the first part of your wedding and a good opportunity to get to know how a photographer works. You will experience how I work, how relaxed a shoot can be and gain confidence in front of the camera. This creates confidence and serenity, a perfect preparation for your free or church wedding.
You concentrate on your wedding ceremony and your guests
A discreet appearance is particularly important for an intimate civil ceremony. I work discreetly and with great sensitivity, without disturbing the proceedings. This results in natural shots while you concentrate fully on your ceremony and your guests. As a photographer, I am present and capture the right moments, but I am never intrusive.

Civil wedding ceremony
How I accompany you photographically at your civil wedding ceremony
01
Before the civil wedding ceremony: Valuable details
Even before the actual ceremony, your story begins in pictures: the arrival of your family and friends, the first hugs, the last nervous smile when you are about to face each other. I’ll be there in time to capture lovely details such as flowers, wedding rings, warm moods and the excitement before you say “I do”. These pictures tell of anticipation, nervousness and the unique atmosphere that only a wedding day has.
02
During the wedding ceremony: unobtrusive accompaniment
I move unobtrusively during the wedding ceremony. I take photos from different angles without disturbing the ceremony, with consideration for the registrar and your guests. I capture all the real, emotional moments for you: the smiles as you say “I do”, the rings being put on, a trembling hand and the tears of joy. Because the civil ceremony often lasts less than half an hour, a confident photographic view is particularly valuable for you.
03
After the ceremony: dreamlike wedding photos
After leaving the wedding hall is usually the best time for congratulations and encounters. This is when we take spontaneous, authentic pictures with your loved ones. Afterwards, we can take time for your bridal couple shoot if you wish. Whether in the courtyard of the registry office, in a nearby park or in the city: I will guide you discreetly. This will result in natural wedding photos that will become precious memories of your big day.
Registry offices for your wedding
Registry offices in Munich: My favorite places for wedding photos
Munich offers many beautiful registry offices, each with its own character and charm, its own atmosphere and unique opportunities for your wedding photos. As a photographer for civil weddings, I know where to take atmospheric pictures after the ceremony. Of course, I can also accompany you to all other registry offices in Munich (e.g. Neues Rathaus, Nymphenburg Palace, Suresnes Palace) and the surrounding area.

01
Mandlstraße registry office: In the middle of Schwabing
Mandlstraße is one of the most popular registry offices in Munich, and not without reason. The stately old building in Schwabing offers the perfect photo backdrop with its stylish entrance area, the quiet side street and the nearby English Garden. Natural couple photos and group photos can be taken here immediately after the ceremony without a lot of hustle and bustle.

02
Registry office Ruppertstraße (KVR): Urban and central
The registry office in Ruppertstraße (near the KVR) is very centrally located and offers a variety of opportunities for beautiful pictures despite its urban surroundings. Especially after the ceremony, it’s worth taking a short walk into the adjacent side streets with old building facades or towards Westpark. I know the spots around the building and will find beautiful backgrounds that suit you.

03
Registry office Haar: On the eastern outskirts of the city
For those who like things a little quieter and closer to nature, the registry office in Haar is a nice alternative. With its modern, bright architecture and green surroundings, it creates relaxed images with a very unique flair. Perfect for couples who want to get married away from the hustle and bustle of Munich and value a personal atmosphere.

All the details
Your questions about the civil wedding ceremony and wedding photography at the registry office in Munich
What is the procedure for a civil wedding?
The wedding ceremony at the registry office is a formal, but also emotional moment. First your details are checked, then the actual ceremony follows with a personal speech by the registrar. You then say “I do”, exchange rings and sign the marriage certificate. Afterwards, there is usually time for congratulations and a short group photo on site.
How long does a wedding ceremony at the registry office take?
The actual ceremony usually takes no more than half an hour. Including arrival, any waiting and congratulations, you should allow about an hour in total.
How much time should we plan for the photos at the registry office and the bridal couple shoot?
You should plan around one hour for the escort at the registry office, including congratulations and group photos. For the subsequent bridal couple shoot, I recommend that you plan half an hour to an hour, depending on the rest of the day, the location and your wishes.
How will you accompany us on the day of the civil wedding?
On the day of your civil wedding, I will accompany you photographically according to our individual agreement. I usually accompany you from the arrival at the registry office, the wedding ceremony itself with ring exchange and congratulations to the subsequent bridal couple photo shoot with couple photos and group photos with your guests. I capture all the big and small moments: hugs, tears of joy, your “I do’s” and of course the first kiss as a newly married couple. The scope of the photographic accompaniment of your civil wedding ceremony will be individually tailored to your wishes. If you wish, I can also accompany you during the getting ready at home.
When does the First Look take place?
The “first look” is a wedding moment in which the bride and groom consciously see each other for the first time before the actual wedding ceremony, often in a quiet, beautiful place without an audience. This moment is often accompanied by photography. If you would like a “first look”, this usually takes place before the actual wedding ceremony. It is a very emotional moment when you see each other for the first time in full wedding attire. I am happy to accompany this special moment for you and capture your reaction in natural images.
When should we book our photographer for the civil wedding?
Ideally, you should contact me as soon as your date at the registry office has been set. I will be happy to reserve your preferred date if I can arrange it.
What is discussed in the preliminary talk with the photographer for the civil wedding?
In the preliminary talk, we clarify all the important questions: the course of your wedding ceremony, the duration of the photographic accompaniment of your civil wedding, your wishes for certain motifs, group photos, locations and special details that are important to you. We will also get to know each other a little so that you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
What happens if we have to postpone the date of the wedding?
If you have to postpone the date, I am flexible and will try to accompany you on the new date. Just let me know as early as possible so that we can find a solution together.
How much does a wedding photographer for the registry office in Munich cost?
The prices for a photographic accompaniment at the registry office generally depend on the duration and scope. I will make you an individual offer as soon as we have clarified the desired amount of time and your ideas about motifs and pictures.
What is included in the price for the photographic accompaniment of our registry office wedding?
The price includes the preliminary talk, styling guides, photographic support, professional image editing of all final images, an online gallery for download and all rights of use for private purposes. I would be happy to make you a complete package offer.
Why are professional wedding photographers so expensive?
My registry office photos involve much more than just the time on location: preparation, preliminary talks, travel, image selection, image editing and advice on photo products make up the majority of my work. In addition, there is high-quality equipment, further training and other costs. You are investing in quality and experience.
How many photos do you take at the civil wedding? How many pictures do we get after the registry office shoot or the bridal couple shoot?
I photograph discreetly and continuously during my photographic accompaniment. This usually results in many pictures, from which I then select the best and make them available to you as an extensive gallery. I am happy to agree with you in advance that I will make all the pictures available to you.
Are all images professionally edited?
Yes, the images that I make available to you in the online gallery are carefully selected and professionally edited. I pay attention to natural colors, harmonious contrasts and a timeless style.
Can we also get unprocessed images?
Unfortunately not. You will receive all final images edited to match my style and quality standards. I do not release unedited RAW files.
When will we receive the final photos after the civil wedding ceremony?
After the wedding ceremony, you will usually receive your registry office photos within one to two weeks. You will then receive the link to your online gallery by email.
Do you also take group photos with our guests?
Yes, I am also happy to take group photos with your guests! After the wedding ceremony is usually a good time for this.
How does the bridal couple shoot work after the wedding ceremony at the registry office?
In the bridal couple photo shoot, we take the time to take relaxed and natural pictures of the two of you. Depending on the location, we will create authentic shots in motion, with small gestures or in portrait style. You don’t have to pose artificially, I will guide you discreetly if you wish.
Will you be with us in time for our civil wedding ceremony?
Of course, I will be there in time for your registry office wedding so that I can prepare myself in peace and quiet and capture my first impressions.
Is the camera flashed when taking photos at the registry office?
No, I prefer to work with natural light so as not to disturb the ceremony. I only use flash in exceptional cases and after consultation, if it is necessary for technical reasons.
What do we do in bad weather?
Beautiful pictures are also created in the rain, for example under a large umbrella, in the entrance area or with an indoor alternative. I will bring ideas and find a relaxed solution together with you. If necessary, we can find a time slot on another day to complete your picture portfolio.
In which registry offices in Munich do you accompany us?
I am happy to accompany you photographically in all Munich registry offices (e.g. Mandlstraße, Ruppertstraße, Neues Rathaus, Schloss Nymphenburg, Schloss Suresnes) and by arrangement also in the surrounding area of Munich (e.g. Haar, Ismaning, Unterföhring, Schleißheim, Glonn).
Are there nearby locations for a bridal couple shoot after the wedding ceremony? Can we choose the location for our bridal couple shoot ourselves?
There are actually always locations for a bridal couple photo shoot near the registry offices, although the registry offices differ here. Whether it’s a park, alleyways in an old town or urban flair, we’ll be happy to coordinate with your ideas!
In which format do we receive our pictures after the registry office photo shoot?
You get the pictures in high resolution for print and web. I will also be happy to advise you on other photo products.
Do we get the registry office photos as an online gallery?
Yes, you will receive your own online gallery where you can view, select and conveniently download the images.
Can we also use our images for social media, invitation cards or other purposes?
Yes, you may use the images for all private purposes, including social media, thank you notes and invitation cards.
