How does the booking process for a christening photo shoot work?
You send me a request via the contact form. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible and we’ll discuss the occasion, the date and the procedure. As soon as everything fits, I will make a binding appointment for you.
When should we book the date for our christening photo shoot?
The earlier, the better. I will gladly try to fulfill last-minute requests, provided I am not already fully booked on that day.
How much does it cost to photograph a christening?
You are welcome to take a look at the prices for shoots for an initial overview. The prices for the photographic accompaniment depend on the duration, the location and the desired scope of services. I will be happy to send you an individual offer after your inquiry.
Is it allowed to take photos during the baptism?
It is best to ask your pastor in advance whether photography is permitted. In most cases it is not a problem, but not all parishes allow unrestricted photography during the baptism.
What is the procedure on the day of the baptism? What is photographed?
I’ll be there on time, follow your schedule and document all aspects of the party. I remain in the background and do not actively intervene in the event. We will discuss your individual wishes in advance so that you are not distracted at your christening.
How long does the shoot take during our christening?
That depends entirely on your celebration, for example I can accompany the most important parts in one to two hours. We’ll tailor the duration to you and the occasion.
What happens if the baptism has to be postponed?
If your party has to be postponed, we will find an alternative date or a replacement photo shoot.
How can we best prepare for the christening shoot?
You don’t need to make any special preparations. If there are special people, situations or program points that are important to you, please discuss them with me beforehand. That way I can deal with them specifically.
What should we wear to the christening? Are there any outfit tips for children and guests?
Wear what you feel comfortable in. Muted colors, natural fabrics and subtle patterns help to create a harmonious overall look. Avoid bold prints or bright colors that are distracting in photos.
How many people can be photographed? Is there a limit?
Whether it’s a small group or a large family celebration, I’m flexible and will adapt to you. There is no limit.
Are the images then professionally edited?
Yes, I edit every shot in my own style, with a focus on naturalness, harmonious colors and gentle light adjustments.
When and how do we receive our final images?
You receive your pictures as a download in an online gallery. Access is convenient, uncomplicated and easy to share with family members and guests.
How many photos do we receive after the baptism?
We will coordinate your ideas before the family party. The number depends on the duration and the schedule. After the photo shoot, you will receive a selection to view and choose your favorites if you don’t take all the pictures.
Can we also receive the pictures as prints, albums or other products?
Yes, with pleasure! I can advise you on high-quality prints, murals and individually designed photo books to match the style of your pictures.
Are individual wishes or special ideas also possible?
Whether it’s special locations or specific image ideas, just tell me what’s important to you. I will be happy to design the photographic accompaniment or photo shoot to suit you.
