In this phase, I can still take gentle poses with your baby, use classic accessories such as scarves and baskets and take detailed shots of the delicate little feet and hands. In our baby photo session, I photograph more flexibly and patiently, as your baby is awake for longer and reacts more sensitively to external stimuli than in the first few days of life. In good weather, I recommend an outdoor baby shoot in nature for this age. Munich offers countless photographic opportunities: whether in the English Garden, in Nymphenburg Palace Park, on a meadow by the Isar or in one of your favorite places, your baby will react to many impressions. Your baby sets the pace: I adapt to your baby’s rhythm and mood. If your baby needs a break to eat, sleep, cuddle or play, we will take this time. It is often in the unplanned moments and breaks that the most beautiful and authentic baby photos are taken.

Personal consultation: Before the baby photo shoot, we will talk about your wishes, the right location and all other details. I will be happy to advise you on outfits and styling.
Outfits and accessories: I bring a coordinated selection of outfits, delicate wraps, soft blankets and other favorite pieces for our photo shoot.
Online gallery: After the photo session, I select the best shots and edit all the pictures with great care. I will provide you with at least 80 pictures to choose from in the online gallery.
Modular structure: Each photo shoot consists of a photo session and a picture package. The photo session does not include any pictures! You book your picture package in the next step.

I will accompany you at your christening with a lot of sensitivity and an eye for the real moments: the first look of the baby in the white dress, the touched grandparents and the sibling watching curiously. I move unobtrusively between your guests and capture the best moments of the day for you.
You can celebrate your baby’s first birthday with a very special shoot. At the cake smash shoot, your birthday boy or girl can explore the cake to their heart’s content, with their hands, face and everything else that goes with it. The resulting pictures are spontaneous and action-packed: genuine amazement, real joy and cake everywhere.

What is the difference between a newborn shoot and a baby shoot?
A newborn shoot usually takes place in the first two weeks after birth, when the newborn still sleeps a lot and can easily be placed in newborn poses. A baby shoot accompanies your child in the first months of life, usually between the third week of life and the first birthday.
At what age does baby photography make sense?
Baby photography makes sense from the third week of life. At this point, the typical window for a classic newborn shoot has just expired, but you can still have a newborn-style baby shoot done. After that, the developmental stages of a baby are often captured photographically at 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. What time of year is best for an outdoor baby shoot?
Spring, summer and fall are equally suitable for an outdoor baby shoot. Each season brings its own mood and color palette. In spring, fresh greenery and flowers shine, in summer there is soft evening light and rich colors, in autumn there are warm golden tones and a particularly cozy atmosphere. In winter, I recommend a home story in your home as an alternative.
How much does a baby photo shoot cost?
A baby photo shoot with me costs from EUR 550. The price is made up of the photo session (EUR 250) and the chosen photo package (from EUR 300). I charge extra for photo sessions on weekends, public holidays, in the studio or outside of Munich. You can find more price information in the packages and prices section.
How long does a baby photo shoot take?
A baby photo shoot usually lasts between one and three hours. The number of participants, subjects, locations and breaks influence the duration of the photo session. We like to take short breaks in between for your baby and siblings to breastfeed, play or simply take a deep breath. It’s best to plan some buffer time afterwards so that we can take photos a little longer if necessary.
Can we postpone the appointment if something comes up?
If you have to postpone your appointment, please let me know as early as possible. We will then find a new date together.
Which location can you recommend?
With an older baby (from about 3-4 months) I recommend an outdoor baby shoot in one of your favorite places, be it a park, a meadow or in your own garden. We can find beautiful spots in every district of Munich, for example in Schwabing, Haidhausen, Bogenhausen, Lehel or Maxvorstadt. Well-known photo locations are also the Olympic Park, Westpark, Fröttmaninger Heide or the Isarauen. For younger babies or in bad weather, a cozy home story at your home is the best choice. On request, I also offer my daylight studio as an alternative.
Which outfits are best to choose as a family?
I recommend that you agree on two or three shades and harmonize your outfits. If you can find color nuances in the clothes of the family members, the pictures will look harmonious. Subtle earth tones, warm beige or soft shades of green are a good choice for an outdoor baby shoot, as they go well with the colors of nature. How do we involve older siblings and the whole family?
Everyone is welcome at the baby shoot: Parents, siblings, grandparents and even pets. I am very happy to include older siblings. I make sure that they feel comfortable and are the center of attention from time to time. In a relaxed atmosphere, the most beautiful sibling pictures usually come about by themselves, for example when the older child makes the baby laugh.
How can we prepare for the baby shoot?
Prepare your preferred outfits in good time and pack a bag with the most important things. You should at least think about a change of clothes, changing kit, pacifier, cuddly toy, toys and food and drink. You should plan the photo session into your baby’s daily rhythm. What do we do when our baby isfussy?
A fussy or restless baby is completely normal and not a problem during a baby photo shoot. I am patient and experienced enough to respond to your baby. We take a break, change the subject or simply wait and see. The most beautiful pictures are often taken at unplanned moments, for example when the baby whines briefly and then laughs brightly. So far, every baby photo session has resulted in wonderful baby photos.
How are our baby pictures edited?
After the photo session, I sort through the pictures and select the best ones for you. I then edit them with high quality and care. In particular, I adjust the exposure, colors and contrast and reduce redness and flakes on the baby’s skin. If you would also like a full beauty retouch of the adults or have special editing requests, please contact me.
When will we get our baby photos?
You will receive your photos promptly, usually within a week after the photo shoot in an online gallery for viewing. I will send you a message as soon as the gallery is ready. You can then view the photos at your leisure and select your personal favorites.
Can you recommend any photo products?
It’s a great idea to show baby photos in your home! I will be happy to advise you on high-quality photo products such as fine art prints, passe-partout boxes, albums, wall pictures and other products. Feel free to contact me so that your memories are shown to their best advantage.
