Anja is really great. Not only was it very easy to schedule appointments and make arrangements via WhatsApp, but both photo shoots were also very well organized, and the results were truly fantastic.

“Outdoors in December? Yes! An unforgettable photo shoot”
Right up until the end, we weren’t sure if we really wanted to do a maternity photo shoot—precisely because, as a woman, you sometimes feel self-conscious about the changes your body goes through during pregnancy. But our friends eventually convinced us to go for it, and looking back, I can 100% recommend it to everyone!
We both felt really comfortable with Anja right from the start. With her calm, warm manner, she guided us wonderfully—and for me personally, the photo shoot even helped me develop a better body image.
We brought a few of our own outfits and were also able to choose from Anja’s collection. When it came time to select the final photos, we ended up choosing her outfits for most of them. That was the perfect choice because she just has such a great eye for it.
Our photo shoot took place in December when it was about 7–8 degrees outside, and even so, I can only say: You should definitely go for it and do it outdoors! Time flies by so quickly that you hardly notice the cold. And the photos taken outdoors turned out absolutely gorgeous—with so many more possibilities and a very special atmosphere compared to the studio.

The location she had chosen for the photo shoot didn’t look like much at first, but it turned out to be a gold mine for a series of wonderful photos.

Before a newborn photoshoot, clients often ask very similar questions. What happens if the baby cries or won’t sleep? Is my own home suitable for a photoshoot? How will I feel in front of the camera so soon after giving birth? I selected the reviews based on these questions. Two families describe a photoshoot during the first week after birth, several mention breastfeeding breaks, and in one review, the midwife arrives an hour early.

We booked a newborn photoshoot with her, and even scheduling the appointment was straightforward and flexible—we were able to simply reach out to her after the birth to set a specific date, since it’s not really possible to plan a photoshoot like this that far in advance.
The photo shoot itself was also very pleasant—Anja took plenty of time; breastfeeding, cuddling, and comforting the baby in between were all part of the process.
You can tell that Anja has a lot of experience working with children; she was also really sweet to our little one.

They brought beautiful outfits, pillows, and blankets in natural colors, as well as a space heater.
In addition, she was very patient, and even longer breaks for breastfeeding and diaper changes were no problem at all.
Anja was very thoughtful and brought our wishes to life in such a beautiful and loving way—for example, including photos with stuffed animals from our own childhoods and incorporating our dog into the session. Our baby, we, and even our dog felt very comfortable.

Communicating with Anja was super fast and hassle-free. Anja is a wonderful, positive, and motivating person. She’s great when you’re feeling unsure. She put all our fears that something might not work out to rest. She accommodated all our requests (e.g., specific photo themes/poses).
For the shoot itself, we were at her photo studio, which had really great lighting and was decorated in a very chic and modern style. Anja brought along a ton of extra props and clothing and gave us great advice beforehand about our own potential outfits.

Shortly after I contacted her, I received a very sweet voice message from her on WhatsApp, which made communication much easier. With her very friendly Hamburg charm, we immediately felt at ease.
During the maternity photo shoot, she proactively suggested new dates about three times because, unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperating, and we were eagerly waiting for some sunshine along the Isar River in Munich. Even at home, she made the most of the background and was wonderfully receptive to our outfit ideas.
During the newborn photoshoot, she also gave us—as new parents—some very valuable tips based on her experience as a mother of three, even during her breaks from breastfeeding. When our midwife arrived an hour earlier than expected, she was patient and didn’t charge us for the extra time. The midwife even thought Anja was a friend of ours because we got along so well.

We had Anja come to our home for a baby/family photo shoot.
