Anja Jepsen honored at the SHINE Photo Award

The SHINE Photo Award is an international photo competition for pregnancy, birth, newborn, children and family photography. Under the motto “It’s your time to shine”, photographers from all over the world submit their best work in four categories: Maternity, Newborn, Birth and Family & Child. With over 25 editions to date, it is one of the most established international awards in its genre.

An independent international jury of experienced professional photographers evaluates all submissions according to three criteria: creative idea, photographic craft and overall impact of the image. The best work in each edition will receive the SHINE Photo Award and be published on the competition’s website and social media channels. All award winners automatically take part in the annual “Photographer of the Year” competition.

For female photographers in German-speaking countries, winning the SHINE Photo Award is a valuable international recognition. Judging is based solely on photographic quality, regardless of location. The SHINE Photo Award thus sets a uniform international standard in pregnancy, newborn and family photography.
