When is the best time for your newborn photo shoot?<\/h2><\/div>

The ideal time for a newborn photo shoot is between the fourth and fourteenth day after birth. During this time, your baby is still sleeping deeply and often and curls up into those classic newborn poses. This is how we capture the enchanting, dreamy newborn photos you\u2019ve been hoping for. After the birth, you should give yourselves three days to adjust to your new family situation. The first growth spurt begins as early as two weeks later, at which point your baby will have outgrown the newborn stage. That\u2019s why I generally recommend scheduling your newborn photo shoot between the fourth and fourteenth day of life. Maybe you haven\u2019t thought about a newborn photo shoot yet, or things turned out a little differently than planned after the birth? No problem\u2014you might still be able to schedule a newborn photo shoot, or you could opt for a baby photo shoot featuring your little one\u2019s alert, curious expressions at a later date. What location do you recommend for our photo shoot?<\/h3><\/div>

In my experience, the most beautiful and personal newborn photos are taken right in your own home. That\u2019s where your baby is most relaxed and feels comfortable and safe. You save yourself the trip, have everything you need close at hand, and can take breaks whenever you like. That\u2019s why most clients choose the home session. I also offer a newborn photo shoot in the studio as an alternative. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long does a newborn shoot take?<\/h3><\/div>

A newborn shoot usually takes between two and three hours. We take plenty of time for extensive breastfeeding and cuddling breaks and for your siblings. This ensures that you always get a diverse selection of motifs. It’s best to plan a little buffer time after the baby shoot in case your baby has its own pace and we need a little longer. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Are family photos and sibling photos also included?<\/h3><\/div>

Yes, absolutely. I always recommend including mom, dad and the siblings in the newborn shoot. Grandparents and pets are also very welcome. I am happy to adapt to your wishes and take newborn photos with the whole family and your loved ones. The most emotional pictures are often taken when the whole family is together. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Feel free to contact me at any time from the twelfth week of pregnancy to book an appointment for your newborn photo shoot. I will reserve a provisional date for you after your due date and we will make a final appointment as soon as your little miracle has arrived!
